Getting Active 2.0 With Electronic Arts

Electronic Arts the makers of WII active have just recently announced the new active title to get gamers up and moving. Now though the game will spread the burn across 3 different systems. EA active 2.0 a working title will be continued on the WII, while being released newly on the PlayStation 3 and IPhone and Ipod Touch. EA has stepped up the fitness game to an all new level with this release.

In depth training featuring a nine-week, three-phase program to help motivate players to carry through their fitness regimen. Electronic Arts will also be releasing new mini-program workouts as down-loadable add-ons, and will have new virtual trainers. The game’s release will be accompanied by the launch of an online hub that will let players upload and share their workout data. The site will also feature fitness tips, forums around certain workouts, and a messaging system that will let players interact. Now working out at home gives you the feel of being in the gym.

In the package will be two motion sensors plus one heart rate monitor giving a more realistic feel to a game. Setting goals keeping yourself to a schedule will prove to be effective as you continue to use the Active program. Gamers and people looking to stay out of the gym but still stay in shape will be sure to enjoy the new installment in the series.
