Looking for more Battlefield Bad Company 2 content? Of course you are. To this date, the BFBC2 DLC has been new map packs and provided for free. However, tomorrow, April 21st, will mark the first paid DLC to be released for the Xbox 360 version of the game. For each class in the game, a new upgrade kit will be available to download. The kit will provide new and unique uniforms, weapons for your soldier, 12 new awards, and 4 acheivements. The DLC can be obtained in two ways – in North America, you can buy specially marked Dr. Pepper cans with a code, or, for everyone else, you can use points to buy them on the marketplace.
So how much do you have to pay for these upgrade kits? Each individual kit will cost you 160 points but a bundle pack that includes all kits will be available for 440 points. Keep in mind, this content is currently limited to the Xbox 360 version of the game with the PC and PS3 content coming soon. Full details about what is included in the DLC can be read below.
Recruited strictly from other high-level Special Operations units such as Delta Force and Spetsnaz, the Special Activities groups – SPECACT – are the elite of the elite, used mainly for covert operations and other high-risk missions in areas where conventional troops cannot be used. With the 4 kit specific unique uniforms and the camouflaged SPECACT personal M16A2, UMP-45, MG3 and M95 SNIPER you have a visual edge on the Battlefield, showing that you’re a force to be reckoned with. The pack also includes 12 new awards and 4 Achievements.
In Europe and the UK you can get hold of the kit upgrades for 160 MS points per kit upgrade or 440 MS points for bundle pack (all kits).
