Capcom Knocks 20% Off SF20

Capcom, for their deal of the week, has decided to knock 20% off of the SF20: The Art Of Street Fighter book. This hardcover, formerly exclusive to the San Diego Comic Con, is now exclusive to the Capcom Store, and is at $63.95

Capcom’s description of the book goes as

SF20: The Art Of Street Fighter gathers over 1,500 illustrations by Capcom’s top artists over the past 20 years. Included are character designs, concept art, rough sketches, game covers, promo artwork, crossover pieces and even some never-before seen artwork from Street Fighter’s past and present. Plus Capcom artists Akiman, Kinu Nishimura, CRMK, Edayan, Dai-Chan, Ikeno, Shinkiro and others give commentary on their favorite pieces and discuss what it’s been like to help forge the Street Fighter legacy.

While I’ve not personally flipped through the book, I’ve had the softcover on order for a few months now. Barnes And Noble glitched and dropped the book to around $10, which is a straight-out steal for a book that has to be high quality. Assembled by UDON, none of their other art books have disappointed. UDON’s ever-increasing collaborations with Capcom have been both beautiful and creative; their comic book series have greatly expanded and fleshed out the various fighting game worlds, and the art books have either been great translations of the Japanese ones or incredible tributes to the franchise from UDON and fans themselves.
