Sniper: Ghost Warrior Goes Gold

Sniper: Ghost Warrior the anticipated FPS that is set in the covert world of a military sniper has gone gold.  The game is set to be released for the Xbox 360 and the PC June 29, 2010.  You may be scratching your head about this one so we added some screenshots for a look into the environment and a look into Sniper Ghost Warrior.  The game looks awesome and who doesn’t like to hide in the brush and take that game ending  headshot.  Here is a little more about the game and check out the screens after the jump.

Developed by City Interactive’s dedicated next-gen games studio, Sniper: Ghost Warrior delivers an impressive visual and technological gaming experience and features a realistic ballistics system that measures bullet trajectory, bullet drop and environmental effects such as wind, fog and rain. Encompassing a wide array of single and multiplayer levels, players will encounter a variety of challenging terrain including lush jungle, urban and industrial settings.  Players take on the role of a Ghost Warrior, an elite sniper in a highly trained special ops unit, whose unique skills in the art of stalking, target detection, surveillance and shooting accuracy will determine mission success. Covert missions force players to operate undetected as they attempt to eliminate hostile enemies one head shot at a time.

Available June 29, 2010, Sniper: Ghost Warrior launches on Xbox 360 and the PC, and is rated M for Mature.
