In the age when everything is going digital from getting your groceries to meeting your spouse, parents have discovered a new set of concerns. Constantly looking for that new high, teenagers have now uncovered a way to escape reality without even having to leave home.
Back in the early 1800s, scientists discovered listening to “binaural beats” lead to opening minds and new thinking. A new iDoser lovingly called the Gate of Hades is apparently proof of this and has even been covered by the Oklahoma City News 9. Only now, when internet is readily accessible has this digital drug become popular.
As I listened to the 10 minute YouTube video, I felt my mind open up and suddenly understood the importance of wearing hemp sandals and growing dread locks. Or maybe that was just my mind’s way of trying to block out the annoying sounds before I started to rip off my ears. In reality I have no idea how listening to this could make you feel high but then again, I never did have imaginary friends so maybe my mind is just too closed.
Believe you will get high and you shall get high. We’ll see!
