I love Easter Eggs. No, not the oval shaped chocolate you get on Easter Sunday, but the secrets contained with the medium of games, films and such. My personal favourites are the ones hidden inside Pixar films, but before you wonder, no, this has nothing to do with Toy Story 3. Nor our Solid Snake as pictured above. This is something different. We all knew you could play Pacman on the Google logo on the day of his anniversary, however, nobody knew that YouTube was hiding something as well, until this video crawled along:
Neat, isn’t it? I appreciate that this is something that many could have known for a while. Although, as the video explains, we have no idea when this feature was added. For all we know, this could have been on YouTube from the very start, I really don’t know how the creators expected anyone to find this, but now they have. And now I’m getting the word out. Of course, it has been hidden well. You can’t do it on videos embedded, like the one above. However, if you click on it, you should be able to do so just by pressing the left key. So you’ll get some strange tunnel effect while playing it, admittedly, it’s not particularly easy collecting ingredients for growth for your snake, in addition to avoiding yourself and the edge of the video playing in the background. But still, it’s a pretty awesome inclusion (to the Gaming section only) and more importantly, another way to waste a few more hours on YouTube!
