In an interview in The Sun tabloid newspaper in the UK, Joe Wee, co-founder of Angry Birds developer Rovio, said the popular iPhone game is coming to PS3, PSP and Nintendo DS.
“When it was released last December Angry Birds made a slow start but as word got round, everyone’s gone crazy for it. We are also releasing it on Nintendo DS, Sony PSP and PS3.”
It may have only be available for just over 6 months but already Angry Birds has sold over 5 million copies and gets more popular everyday. Some consider it to be one of the most addictive games on the iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch. If you are one of the few who is not addicted yet here is an overview. The aim of the game is to catapult your birds into the pigs buildings. Why? The Pigs stole your eggs of course! The Pigs barricade themselves in with wooden and stone structures and you use the catapult to fire your birds at the buildings in an effort to kill all the pigs in each level. You have a variety of different species of bird with different skills. Some can cut through wood, drop exploding eggs or split into three to give you a wider ranged attack.
