Monster Hunter Tri Original Soundtrack Announced

Finally the plethora of rabid hunters in one of Wii’s most popular game will be completely pleased. Earlier today, Sumthing Else Music Works (the guys behind some kick-ass OST releases like Halo 3, Gears of War 2, and Alan Wake), announced Monster Hunter Tri would be getting its own full featured original soundtrack release. This is great news for any music enthusiast, as Yuko Komiyama’s score is incredibly varied, diverse and multicultural, and the fact that the pieces were recorded with the FILMharmonic Orchestra just makes it a definite must-have.

Here’s some excerpt from the Press Release:

Sumthing Else Music Works, Inc., through its licensing relationship with Capcom®, proudly presents Monster Hunter™ Tri Original Soundtrack featuring the original musical score from Monster Hunter™ Tri for Wii™, the latest installment in the best-selling Japanese adventure video game series. The two-disc soundtrack album is released today to retail outlets through Sumthing Else Music Works, and will be available for digital download on Sumthing Digital, Amazon MP3 and iTunes®.
