So I got an email this week from Microsoft, which I thought was nice since I hadn’t heard from them since around this time last year. When I read the email I was reminded why. My Xbox Live was due for renewal, and they were kindly informing me that the costs were going up $10. Fortunately, I locked in my renewal for $10 less than I paid last year, which is confusing to me, so I’m not going to think about it. I will ask the question, though:
Is $60 a year too much to pay for Xbox Live’s Gold level of online connectivity?
I have my thoughts on this subject, and I’ll share them on Friday, but I’m curious to know what you all think here.
ChaCha.com’s response: “No. This is the regular price for Xbox Live.” – I appreciate the simplicity of the response, and my answer isn’t too far off from it. But that waits until Friday.
A Simple Question (ASQ) is a weekly segment for Platform Nation. Each week, you’ll be posed a question. Give a response and let the world know what you think, there is no right or wrong answer here. I will post my response on Friday. If you have a suggestion for a question, hit me up on twitter @vttym.
