For all you east coast gamers, and those who are willing to travel, that want to go to PAX-East 2011 the pre-registration is now going on! To sign up you can go to the following link:
The prices are good and since it’s early you will save money and it gives you time to find a hotel and set up anything else you may need to in advance (time off of work, who to go with, etc…) the pricing for pre-registration is as follows:
Friday Only: $35
Saturday Only: $35
Sunday Only: $35
3 Day Pass: $55
For the pricing I don’t see any issue with choosing the 3-Day Pass, over buying a pass for two individual days.
Now for those of you who haven’t been to a PAX-East or PAX in general here is the rundown on what you can expect to see at one of the events straight from the site itself, “PAX East is a three-day game festival for tabletop, videogame, and PC gamers. We call it a festival because in addition to dedicated tournaments and freeplay areas we’ve got nerdcore concerts, panel discussions, and an exhibitor hall filled with booths displaying the latest from top game publishers and developers. Even with all this amazing content the best part of PAX East is hanging out with other people who know their shit when it comes to games.”
So for those of you who are interested I strongly suggest you pre-register now, it’s a great event and a lot of fun, on top of all of that you can meet many great people and have an all around great time. I’m going to this event for sure and I enjoyed it in the past and it is one of the few events I look forward to each year (Comic Con aside of course).
