Visceral Games Making A New Command & Conquer?

Visceral Games, the company behind Dead Space and Dante’s Inferno, made a quiet announcement today, when Nick Earl (the general manager of Visceral Games) revealed that they will be working on a new Command & Conquer game.

In an interview with Gamasutra, Earl revealed that there is a Visceral team working on a “pretty far out” Command & Conquer title. He later goes on to say that “the effort and energy at the moment is around building EA share in the action category… to achieve our mission of becoming number one inside of the action space.” Judging from that statement, it is unlikely that Visceral Games’ new Command & Conquer is going to be a real time strategy game, but you never know what might happen.

  • That’s a great news, I know EA is looking to carve up a space into the action genre, and they can’t go wrong with C&C. If I find a video on it I’ll be sure to post it on the Video Game Canon:
