Do you know what I love? Great games being sold for cheap. Do you know what I love even more? Great games being sold for cheap due to Halloween. Actually, make that any reason because it makes it feel extra special, as if I’ve found a pot of gold or a, you know, unicorn.
Anyways, it turns out EA is doing just that. For the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch, they’re laying down a solid chunk of their iTunes offerings for a mere 99 cents for the entire weekend. Some of my personal recommendations include Wolfenstein RPG, Pandemonium, and R-Type. I can’t even begin to tell you the amount of time I’ve wasted on those games (and how much of my friends’ iPhone batteries I’ve killed).
On the PC side of things, EA has put some incredible humdingers up for sale. If you haven’t played any of these games, you need to drop whatever college football game or MythBusters marathon you’re watching and go over to the EA Store so you can catch up with the rest of the gaming world. I recommend, quite seriously, all four of these titles. It’s unfortunate that only one of them truly fits into the Halloween spirit of being scary, but at least they’re all awesome.
