The Wrangler will feature Call of Duty insignia throughout, leather steering wheel, a massive surround sound system, off road tires and a cool satellite radio built in. The car can come in a 2 door or a 4 door model and offers a complete blacked out exterior.
The Wrangler will go on sale in 2011 and has already been featured in Black Ops, so as far as marketing this vehicle to hardcore Call of Duty gamers, Jeep are certainly doing a good job.
Production of the vehicle will be highly limited, and eager consumers can go ahead and get their orders in now. The press release only mentions Quirk Chrysler Jeep in Boston, so if you live elsewhere you should check in with your local dealer to see if it will be able to fulfill orders for the custom Jeep
If you do happen to have a spare $30,000 lying around, then this is a must for all Call of Duty fans. Needless to say, you will be the envy of all your friends having the ultimate Call of Duty accessory.
But surely all this is taking it a step too far for Call of Duty? Branching out into the automobile industry? I think it is fair to say, the CoD series is taking bigger strides every year and with it grossing $650 million in five days, smashing last years title which was $550 million at the same stage. I think it is only fair to say, next years title, based of these figures alone, could be an even bigger bestseller.
This Wrangler puts the Modern Warfare night vision goggles to shame!
