Square Enix’s prequel to the first Deus Ex is getting a delay into the company’s “next fiscal year”, which begins on April 1st, 2011. Despite not having played the original games, I’m highly intrigued at what I’ve seen in screens and read in preview articles about this installment of the series. Hopefully the fact that Human Revolution is a prequel will let people myself into the game without too much confusion. IGN has more details and news about the just announced delay.
Publisher Square Enix is delaying the release of Deus Ex: Human Revolution into its next fiscal year, which begins on April 1, 2011.
The third title in the series, and a prequel to the first game, was originally scheduled to ship on March 8, 2011 in North America. Square Enix did not provide a new release date.
