Catherine Demo Considered

Even with a screenshot the pillow seems funny.

The bizarre yet intriguing Atlus game maybe getting a demo soon. Fans will be able to decide if they Catherine is a hit or a miss before buying according to director Katsura Hashino, the demo was started right after the game was completed.

The game will be getting a special edition to go along with the regular release called the Catherine DX Pack. The Catherine DX Pack contains three posters, a mini arm rest cushion themed around the pillow from the game, and a telephone card set with original artwork by Shigenori Soejima. The special edition also has the SoundDisk and ArtBook item that comes in every copy of Catherine. The posters are the PS3, 360 box art, and a concept art.

I am sure many of you are confused when I said the cushion is themed around a pillow. The pillow is actually Vincent’s primary weapon in the nightmare stages.Vincent can also use other weapons to fight with.

  • I hope we see a demo. I am intrigued by this game (and the titillating artwork), but it would take a lot more than that to have me pick it up without first sampling the gameplay.

    • It seems like a given that they will release a demo. The problem is if they make it a Japan-only demo.
