Thanks to Iceberg entertainment and indie developer Vertigo Games B.V I was offered the chance to preview Adam’s Venture Episode 2: Solomons Secret. Solomons Secret is the second installment in this episodic adventure that will take players on some great adventures. Playing the game you can expect to find yourself in situations that you need wit and knowledge to get out of. Puzzles range from easy breeze through puzzles to puzzles that are sure to test your solving skills as you get into later levels.
With episode II players can expect the puzzles to become quite a bit more challenging overall. We’ve received very useful feedback on the first episode, and are working hard to use this information to the gamers advantage. I believe Solomon’s Secret will be a big leap forward for the Adam’s Venture series in terms of length, game play and storyline.
Adam’s Venture is sure to thrill in many areas, from the cunning dashing lead character that will take you on your adventure. Find yourself picking locks, sneaking around and overall doing everything a true adventurer should be doing. Searching for the lost garden of Eden you will be caught up in a plot to uncover Solomon’s gold but, much more could be involved. Levels will range from you being stuck in a jail cell, to open sprawling deserts, players will also find themselves in some great places to explore.
- Developed using the critically acclaimed Unreal 3 Engine.

- Engaging storyline weaving a classic adventure with biblical overtones, adding more characters, depth and twists in this second game of the series.
- 8 distinct levels, including outdoor environments, with much longer game play.

Adam’s Venture 2 caught me off guard, I wasn’t expecting such a rich thrilling adventure to unfold. Intense moments of action mixed with comedy between the lead character and his female counter part. Mix in a story that will catch many by surprise and you have a recipe for a great game. Vertigo Games did a great job with the game, a few updates will make this game even better. Plus add in the unreal engine and you really can’t go wrong.
If you have not played the series I recommend starting with Episode 1 just to get up to speed on the story. Unfortunately I didn’t get the chance to try the first one so I came in half way through. These games will be ones on my radar just because of how much fun I had playing. If you are the least bit interested in the title be sure to pre-order and support these small developer show them you enjoy the products they are bringing you.
