For those not turned off by the 3DS’s somewhat hefty price tag, March 27 is a date of great anticipation. Sadly, Americans will have to wait even longer to get the full 3DS experience.
While gamers will be able to experience the bulk of what the 3DS has to offer at launch, a few features won’t be rolled out right away; the first system update, scheduled for sometime in May, will unlock the eShop, internet browser, and DSiWare transfer program. Until then, I guess gamers will have to get by solely on video games.
Gaming without the internet? What is this world coming to?
