Archie Reveals May 2011 Comic Solicits

Archie Comics are known for their red-haired protagonist, his burger-addicted friend, and the blonde and brunette girls interested in him. If you’re a gamer, though, you should know them for much more. Archie has been releasing Sonic The Hedgehog comic books for over a decade now, and are about to launch a Megaman title. Archie has sent out the solicits for each of these books, coming out in May.

Sonic The Hedgehog‘s 225th issue is a milestone, being the longest-running comic book based on an external property. Sonic Universe is the side-story series to the main book, and Sonic Archives collects older issues. This is Megaman’s first ongoing book in America.

And yes, I own every issue of Sonic The Hedgehog.

    Awesome stuff! It’s Sonic’s 20th anniversary though, not his 25th. 🙂
