In case you’re already clamoring for more Bulletstorm, EA just announced an entire new DLC pack headed to the skill-point based FPS this upcoming spring. Questioningly titled “Gun Sonata Pack”, the DLC will give you three brand new maps (Sewers of Stygia, Hotel Elysium and Villa) to run rampant with your friends in the co-op Anarchy mode. For you single-player fans there’s also gonna be two new Echo maps called Crash Site and Guns of Stygia.
The pack will be available for the Xbox 360 and PS3 in the very wishy-washy time window of “this spring” for ten bucks (that’s 800 Microsoft Fun-Bucks). It’s reported the PC players will be receiving some DLC love as well, and should see the pack drop around the same time. This is all awesome and fine and I’m in love with the game with just under four hours playtime, but why have a DLC pack with the word “gun” in it if there won’t be new weapons? I know they went for a quality not quantity approach to weapons in the game, and by choice, but just one or two new weapons of destruction couldn’t hurt that infrastructure, could it?
