On the Fault Line With Battlefield 3

For the past couple of years, Call of Duty has been the go-to franchise for first person shooters. Now it appears that the Battlefield series may finally offer some competition.

If you haven’t been following along, Battlefield 3 was announced awhile back, and footage of the game has been making its way onto the web. Up until recently, the footage was somewhat episodic; now there’s a solid 12 minutes of footage to pleasure your eye-holes. If you haven’t seen it, I implore you, take the time and give it a watch.

I think “stunning” sums it up quite nicely.

Battlefield 3 will be available this Fall on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360. Infinity Ward has some work to do, don’t you think?

Looking forward to this one. Those graphics are definitely top range PC though, I doubt that PS3, 360 versions will look quite that awesome.
I know battlefield is all about the multiplayer but I hope they put a bit more into the single player campaign this time.
