“Street Fighter: The New Challengers” To Animate UDON’s Adventures

Motion comics are a unique thing. Take some comic books, edit out the characters, and have them move against the static backdrop. A voice actor or narrator can hop in and do the dialogue, and you have a quick tie-in. Usually, you see them as a tie-in to a bigger movie or television release.

Eagle One Media has returned to the world of Street Fighter, this time releasing Street Fighter: The New Challengers. Once again based off of UDON’s comic book series, the disc will release in two flavors in August. One will be the disc alone, while the other will come with a special Ryu shirt.

In Street Fighter: The New Challengers the epic saga continues as Ryu
begins his journey around the world, Cammy’s quest to discover her past
takes a number of unexpected turns, Chun-Li’s investigation into Shadaloo
takes her from the depths of the Hong Kong underworld to the jungles of
Brazil, and Ken must contend with a vengeful Vega who wants nothing but to
turn Ken’s wedding shower into a bloodbath. Many familiar faces from the
Street Fighter universe return including US Special Ops Guile and the
spunky and determined schoolgirl Sakura, while fan-favorites such as
Fei-Long, Gen, Balrog, Blanka, and team Delta Red make their debut.

I’ll be skipping this, as I already have all the comic books. What about you?
