Senior Producer Of The Witcher 2 Leaves Game Industry

In the wake of The Witcher 2’s critical and commercial success, producer Tomek (Tomasz) Gop has been reported to not only have left CD Projekt Red, but has left the game industry entirely. Gop produced both Witcher titles, and also served in a senior role in the development of CD Projekt’s proprietary RED Engine.

It is unknown if Gop left the industry by choice or was forced out, but CD Projekt’s Lukasz Kukawski has confirmed that Gop had “left the games industry entirely.”

It’s sad to see the man go, but hopefully he will find more fulfilling employment, as he is obviously an extremely talented individual.
