Calibur11 And EPIC Games Team Up To Create Gears Of War 3 Vault

With the release of Gears of War 3 in September 2011 comes the dilemma of whether or not to buy the latest limited edition Gears of War 3 console. At a cost of £399 for the console, game, wired headset and a token for bonus game content, it is at least worth considering. However, if you are like my boyfriend, chances are you have already got at least one of the other limited edition consoles out there. So if you don’t want to spend the money on another console but still want to commemorate the release of Gears of War 3 with a new look console, what can you do?

Epic Games and Calibur11, the company behind the Xbox 360 vaults, have teamed up to bring you the Gears of War 3 Vault. The Vault consists of one chassis, body panels and locking mechanisms. The unique features include a controller cradle, illuminated Infected Omen, and an exclusive hi-definition ‘ Bleed Out finish,’ and at a cost of $89.99, it is a lot cheaper than forking out for a brand new console. Now while you may be reading this thinking that $90 for a cover is a bit pricey, you haven’t heard the best part yet: The illuminated Infected Omen glows crimson when you have been downed by an enemy, warning you to get into cover. There is also the chance to win an official life sized Gears of War – Cog Armoured suit sporting the C11 logo as seen in the Gears of War 3 game. For more information, or to order the vault, head over to the Calibur11 website. In the meantime check out the pictures below.
