Call Of Duty Annihilation Map Pack Easter Eggs And Tips

The new Call of Duty: Black Ops Annihilation Map Pack adds four new multiplayer maps for players to battle on, and if you wanna be on the top of the scoreboard you are going to need to know the maps. Below are some tips and hiding spots I found that can give you a competitive edge. Also Treyarch included some easter eggs in the new maps, a few of which I found and posted at the bottom. Write in the comments if you have more tips or easter eggs you find work on these new maps!

On Hazard get a kit with a sniper rifle and the camera. Jump onto the wall next to the bridge overlooking the green and place the camera there, then hide behind the wall. The bright white glow of enemies will be easy to see on the feed even if their heads are just slightly poking out. This will allow you to stay safe from gunfire until you know where an enemy is. If you are on the other side of the green just throw the camera onto the hill next to the sandtrap and find a good hiding spot. This is a very effective strategy, even on Demolition where every shot counts.

On Silo climb the sniper tower and then sprint and jump to this set of concrete tubes. People usually wont think to look there and if you go prone you can do pretty good.

On Silo, people think a good position for the sniper is the silo with the staircase opposite the control room. However its just as obvious to your enemy that you will be there. Instead of crouching up top, stay in the stairs and hide behind the small strips of rebar. The brown colors of your suit will blend in with the busy pattern and dark colors of the stairs and let you take out anyone peeking from the window without getting hit.

On Drive-In a good hiding place can help a lot. On the side of the map lies heaps of wreckage. Make your way to the back corner where the small concrete structure with the tables is. Go prone and peek your head out between one of the pillars and the corner table. The high grass and trash will make it hard to see you and allow you to gun down enemies as they come down the long path. This spot is good for two reasons, for one, you are in a hard to see area in the corner of the map, away from the entrance way people will be looking towards - so even if you are spotted they will have to take time to aim at you first. The second reason is people spraying bullets at you will have most of their bullets miss and hit the table and pillars, and since you are lying down you are the smallest possible target.

A little easter egg on Hazard. The scoreboard in the middle reveals that Fidel Castro is not only a demanding dictator, but a great golfer with a score of -8.

This one is easier to spot. In the arcade on Drive-In you can spot a couple "Call of Duty: World at War" games, which was the last title Treyarch developed.

GARBAGE. These maps are okay but your review is TERRIBLE. All you do is promote and encourage more camping. Shame on you. Shame on you campers with no skill using a spike camera because your too afraid to go head on.

Sorry you think that way Ben, but people are going to do it no matter what. I rather fight campers then people exploiting aiming and diving.

I understand people are going to camp. No disrespect towards what you do, but come one,

I think it’s awesome you write reviews for games, i love it, just please stop promoting camping though. So you would rather want corner campers who just hide in the same corner with their motion sensors all game?

Wow people are so quick to jump on the writer of this give the guy a break.
I am tired of hearing all the whining and complaining about camping. I am the first to want to through my controller through the tv when I get shot by a corner camper but what;s wrong with not running and gunning? Especially if you are playing an objective type game. Grow the f up ben not everyone wants to run around knifing people. Vincent nice job keep up the good work.

      Thanks for the kind words!

I hate campers, but that’s just my opinion.  I understand that’s playing style. On the other hand, I like your website and your comments.  Keep it up. I will visit often.

I murder campers. I love it when people play demolition and camp. Its an easy win every time and I just finished up a legit 78 game win streak slaughtering campers. People play demo because they cant kill on team death match and try to just hide and get easy kills and never plant or defuse the bomb. Cant wait for more campers on these new maps.
