Calling all WWI / WWII aircraft combat fans; Aces High, a PC based MMO air combat game, is soon going to be available damn near everywhere. European markets (English and German speaking) will be getting a retail box version of the game that includes two months subscription fees ($30 US) plus exclusive content. Texas-based HiTech Creations has signed on with publisher Iceberg Interactive for exclusive retail rights for all of Europe and non-exclusive worldwide online direct download rights.
Aces High takes the art and science of vintage WW1 and WW2 air combat, and sets it in a high intensity online multiplayer environment. Hundreds of players simultaneously battle it out against each other in massive aerial dogfights and bomber raids.
Iceberg Interactive CEO Erik Schreuder says: „With Aces High we have signed a really versatile multiplayer simulation game that combines hard core combat flight sim elements with ground-wars and naval battles. Every plane, ship or tank that you see, represents a gamer behind their PC, battling it out for glory. With vast amounts of user generated content, a vibrant community and regular free updates, this is an addictive game for anyone who likes intense dogfights and beyond. Combat flight sim as a genre has worked very well for us and we expect Aces High to be another ace in the hole.”
