Gunn Attached To Lollipop Chainsaw

Last week we told you about Suda 51’s upcoming game, Lollipop Chainsaw. This week we’re going to tell you more about Suda 51’s upcoming game, Lollipop Chainsaw.

First off: it was recently announced that WB Games will be in charge of publishing LC in the States.

Second: James Gunn, screenwriter for the Dawn of the Dead remake and Slither (which he also directed), is having a hand in the game’s creation. His personal blog was recently updated where he confirmed that he has been working on the project for about a year and that he’s collaborated with Suda on the game’s story, dialogue and characters. You can read the post in its entirety here.

This, I think, is very interesting. Dawn of the Dead showed Gunn’s affinity for violence, and Slither showed how campy he can be. If those traits aren’t perfect for Lollipop Chainsaw, I don’t know what is.
