HBO Go Streaming Service Heading To Consoles

It’s time to start clearing out your Hulu and Netflix queues. Time Warner’s CEO Jeff Bewkes announced yesterday that the cable channel’s premium streaming service (which so far has been seen only on devices like the iPad), will make the jump to gaming consoles and internet-capable HDTVs. But without a time-line of launch or a description of consoles, it’s easy to see we may have to wait a while for the ability to watch Game of Thrones or True Blood on our Xbox’s. As a rabid viewer of most of their current television shows, and someone who’s always wondered about shows like Carnivale and Big Love, I eagerly anticipate more details.
