“Apocalypse” Displaces “Resistance” For PlayStation TV

One of the more interesting announcements from recent months was from Sony’s camp. At the end of the year, they’ll be releasing a 24-inch 3D TV, branded with the PlayStation name. Following up with extending the PlayStation name to an Android phone, the TV also attempts to extend 3D gaming and movies to a bigger audience. When announced, the TV was planned to come with an HDMI cable, one pair of glasses, and a copy of Resistance 3.

Things have changed, apparently. Resistance 3 has been dropped in favor of Motorstorm Apocalypse. It seems that the change is in an effort to show off the multiplayer without split-screen feature that the TV has pioneered, giving both players a full screen without seeing their opponent. Some stores, having to deal with the change in preorder, are now actually offering a copy of Resistance 3 with the new Motorstorm bundle.

Are you disappointed or happy with the game change? Like many people, are you experiencing 3D fatigue?
