Following the release of Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike Online Edition, Capcom has detailed their latest hot fix for the Xbox Live Arcade version as well as discuss other existing problems planned for future patches.
3rd Strike Online Edition producer Derek Neal revealed that XBLA version received a post-launch patch that allowed users to upload their completed matches onto YouTube on Thur. Aug 28, 2011. Users can find their completed replays on a special dedicated channel unlike the PlayStation Network version where players can have matches on their own YouTube channel.
“We’re still experiencing some occasional hiccoughs with the Xbox Live Server Program server, so the service might go down intermittently. But it’s up right now, and you can see the videos people have uploaded here” Neal said.
Neal also confirmed another upcoming update including the removal of the seemingly high disconnect rate bug, the trial challenge exploits, and an increased level cap for ranked match play. The release of the update should be announced after being reaching certification by both Microsoft and Sony.
The conclusion of the patch notes had Neal reveal future patches to help improve more unspecified sections of the game.
“Further downstream, we’re looking at all of your feedback for potential future updates (beyond the fixes in this post),” Neal said. “So, please bear with us as we continue working to make this game even more awesome!”
