Earlier this year, news broke that Monolith Productions, the developers behind the F.E.A.R. series, would be coming out with Gotham City Impostors, a downloadable title that’s all about online first person shooting and people dressed up like Batman and the Joker. We even managed to get our hands on it a couple of times, but now you can play it, too!
Unfortunately, if you do, you can only do so from 7pm to 12 am Eastern from October 5th to October 9th on a PC. Steam codes have already been sent out to those who were accepted, so those lucky few can go ahead and start preloading the game before next week. Also, it’s a closed beta, meaning whatever you experience, you can’t tell anyone about.
Anywho, this bit of news also came with a walkthrough video of some of the beta with Monolith’s associate producer Lucas Myers. The full game is expected to release early next year on PC, PSN, and XBLA.
