L.A. Noire Developer To Soon Shut Down

It has been confirmed that Team Bondi, the Australian studio behind Rockstar Games’ 1950s detective game L.A. Noire, is now in the process of closing its doors.

Sourced by the Australian Securities and Investments Committee, Mike Rose of Gamasutra confirmed that Team Bondi is in the liquidation process before it finally dissolves in a future date. Prior to the confirmation, the development team faced an administration phase on Aug. 30 after the success of their only existing and critically successful game.

Team Bondi’s success of L.A. Noire also faced controversy due the response by multiple Team Bondi staff members who were not credited for being involved in the creation the game. Another topic included allegations from other team members who blamed founder Brendan McNamera for bad working conditions.
