Vile From Mega Man X To Blast Away Action Figures

Capcom and Mega Man are having a strained relationship at the moment. Mega Man Legends 3 has been cancelled. Mega Man himself (or any variant of the character, beyond Zero’s alternate colors) has been denied entry into the Ultimate Marvel VS. Capcom 3 game world. His last real playable appearance was in Megaman 10, with Mega Man Volnutt from Legends taking his position in Tatsunoko VS. Capcom. Still, with Zero getting much of the attention, another character from the franchise will get immortalized in highly-posable plastic.

Vile, the villainous Reploid from the Mega Man X series, will be getting a D-Art of his own. D-Arts are one of Bandai’s lines of super-articulate and incredibly designed action figures, coming with swappable faces, hands, weapons, and so forth. They run a hefty price for their quality, Amazon has listings for D-Arts of X, Zero, and X in his full armor running at least $35. While no word on an exclusivity (America got a metallic variant of X, while Japan looks to be getting a battle damaged variant) or even paint scheme, the figure is only a tease at the moment. Still, with a release likely for 2012, it’s time to start saving.

Can you see this figure busting up your shelves?
