    Why is this not an overnight job? Imagine saying F it I will take the day off school/work and play PS3 most of the day and bam! Maintenance! Other then that my day pretty much sucked!

    Not good planning, Sony.  What kinda of management do you have making these decisions?  They ought to be relieved of duty.  Scheduled maintenance during peak gaming time is the worst idea I’ve ever seen.  I’m appalled and I’m switching to xbox.  Sad day to see this happen as I said I never would.  This was the straw that broke the camel’s back.  It’s a good thing my job is to sell gaming systems–I’ll be able to persuade every buyer not to buy Sony.

    Why is it that when PlayStation goes through scheduled maintenance they always pick the worst times.  Its stuff like this why PS3 lovers get shit on by Xbox fanatics.

    After the last time they went down for “maintenance” for a couple of hours and weeks later I still couldn’t do something as simple as watch netflix, I swore if they pulled this crap again I would switch to xbox.
    Well folks, I I just went out and picked up xbox 360 250GB.  $299 is well worth it to avoid this unprofessional BS.  Before everyone else is back up and running, I will be waving goodbye to PSN using my Kinect….lol
