He may no longer headline The Brave and the Bold. He may only be an advisor to Young Justice. He won’t Rise until next year. While he might star in a multitude of books in the DC Comics stable, he’s rather missing in their multimedia run. Beware The Batman! might be on it’s way for younger audiences, and The Dark Knight Rises will likely dominate the theaters, but Batman: Arkham City looked to be the last Bat-centric game for a while. LEGO looks to rectify that with LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes.
Bricktuts has found an image promoting the unannounced sequel. The promotional picture shows Batman and Superman being harassed by the forces of evil, Lex Luthor and the Joker. As it’s not LEGO Batman And Superman, it stands to reason that more superheroes and super-villains might join the fight, such as Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, or Aquaman. Given how prolific the character choices were in the title’s predecessor, it’d expected that you’d be able to play beyond the Dark Knight and Man of Steel. No console has been announced, but with the success of the LEGO titles, it would likely be released for all major platforms.
