We’ve known about the games releasing in Xbox Live’s House Party for a couple of days now, but now we have some concrete footage of each game in action. The line-up is unusually solid, (I personally can not wait for Alan Wake’s American Nightmare) with a nice mash-up between genres. And like all the previous Xbox Live House Parties and Summer of Arcades, purchasing all of the games over the four week span nets you 800 Microsoft Points delivered directly to your account once the promo is done. I guess the benefit of that will come once we find out how much each game is (I’m betting on Alan and I Am Alive to be 1200; no idea about the others), but it’s still a great incentive to buy them all.
The Xbox Live House Party starts February 15th with Alan Wake’s American Nightmare and continues for four weeks. Check out a description of each of the games below and let us know which you’re most excited for!
Alan Wake’s American Nightmare
A thrilling new storyline, hordes of creepy enemies, serious firepower and beautiful Arizona locations, make this a must for Alan Wake veterans and players new to the series. Fight to stop your murderous evil double to take back your life … and change reality itself.
I Am Alive
In this post-apocalyptic adventure, survive the suffocating, murky streets covered in dust and search for your lost wife and daughter amidst the crumbling ruins of a once-thriving metropolis filled with distrustful survivors, dangerous armed gangs, and victims in need.
Episodes of lethal combat are broadcast throughout the galaxy as entertainment in a spectacle known as The Nexuiz Competition. Jump into an arena-based first person shooter where you can alter the rules of the match and laws of physics while dominating opponents in ever-changing hostile environments.
Zero, a loveable-yet-lethal orange alien with a big score to settle, has been captured by the villainous Commander and imprisoned in his underwater facility. Zero must plan his ultimate escape using his arsenal of alien abilities — warp, frag, echo, swap and launch.
