Resident Evil 6 Starts With A Presidential Evil

The Resident Evil franchise celebrated its 15th anniversary today, and it obviously came with a look to the future. With Operation Raccoon City coming out in two months (and Revelations releasing next month), zombie-slayers definitely have a few games to last them into the spring and summer. What about beyond then? Resident Evil: Retribution will be in cinemas in September, and a newly-announced title, Resident Evil 6, will hit Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC on November 20, 2012.

Confirming that the viral site No Hope Left is for the game, Capcom has released a trailer for the title. In it, classic characters of Chris Redfield and Leon Kennedy must tackle an infection in Tall Oaks, with the President having succumbed to the latest virus. The game looks to continue the over-the-shoulder action from the previous two core titles. Given previous trends, expect a limited edition with the regular edition, and a fair amount of DLC to boot.

Are you a bad enough dude to not save the President?
