High-Definition “Zone Of The Enders” Coming This Fall

While the pair of titles were never the best-selling, Zone of the Enders has a dedicated fanbase. They’ve supported two titles on the PlayStation 2, an OVA, a Game Boy Advance title, and a TV series. With three playable titles on abandoned systems, new fans were hard pressed to play any of the games. At last year’s E3, Konami announced plans for a Zone of the Enders HD Collection.

Much in the vein of the recently-released Metal Gear Solid HD Collection (and sharing some box art elements, apparently), Zone of the Enders HD Collection has been confirmed for a fall release on both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 today. Hideo Kojima’s “other” mech game franchise will be bundling both the original title and it’s sequel, The 2nd Runner, are “fully remastered”. The GBA title, and the animated works, will likely not be included. Theoretically, the title will be released at the budget price of $39.99, like the MGS collection.

Are you ready to be confused by another Kojima storyline?
