BioShock Infinite’s Handyman A Heavy Hitter, Not Hand Model

Rewind your minds to a simpler time with Ken Levine’s BioShock Infi..nine (hey, at least I’m trying). If you can go all the way back to yesterweek, you’ll recall that part one of the Heavy Hitters series for Irrational Game’s upcoming BioShock Infinite came out and highlighted the Motorized Patriot, aka robot George Washington. This week, they’ve gone the way of the Handyman.

Pretty unsettling, right? In a moment of empathy trumping terror, you’ll notice that this fella used to be a human, and what with his heart still beating and all (just inside of a metallic framework instead of a fleshy one), he might still be sorta kinda human. How did they become these sad, tragic figures? Why do they throw people at other people? The only way to find out, apparently, is to play the game. Look for it October 16th, 2012.
