Gamers Can Finally Wear Their Fez On April 13th

Microsoft has a tradition going on. Xbox Live Arcade titles hit on Wednesdays; it’s been that way since the beginning of time. Every once in a while, like today’s releases of South Park: Tenorman’s Revenge, a title might slip to Friday to accomodate the schedule. One title has been hotly awaited for years, and will finally arrive. Hopefully, a Friday the 13th release won’t be a bad omen.

Announced in 2007, Fez will be arriving on the Xbox Live Arcade in two weeks. Having won multiple awards, its long gestation time (almost common for an indie game) has made the wait feel even longer. Polytron will be releasing the title for 800 MS Points, and all will be right in the world. The game, a 2D-3D hybrid, is by all accounts a visual marvel. Hopefully, it plays as well as it looks.
