Google has decided they just couldn’t wait any longer. One day early from their Christmas of shenanigans and they’ve opened the presents. This time, however, it seems especially relevant to our website here.
8-bit Google Maps for the NES! Complete with snazzy cartridge sticker, blocky graphics, and blowing out the dust. There’s even a dial-up Internet connection and amazingly accurate speech-to-text transcription abilities! You can give the web version a whirl at Google Maps by clicking the Quest button in the upper right while (I presume) they are finishing the manufacturing process on the cartridges.
I think this is just the tops. Everyone else, pack it up. Google’s got it on lock.
