Ninja Gaiden 3 has been given average scores in reviews since release, this is for many reasons. One of the main reasons is that the game is just too easy, and because Team Ninja are trying to aim the game towards a different audience instead of in the previous games that were completely brutal to get through, but still enjoyed because of that insane difficulty level.
Ninja Gaiden 3 is getting patched on April 24th to add “Ultimate Ninja” as a difficulty level. I’m not saying that Ninja Gaiden 3 isn’t a difficult game because it does keep up with how tough the first two were, but for gamers that want that extra little challenge then it’s nice to see that they are adding this in. The Ultimate Ninja difficulty will be added to the game on April 24th.
The ‘Ninja Pack 1’ DLC is now available for Ninja Gaiden 3. This piece of downloadable content adds some new Ninja Trials for you to attempt. Alongside the trials, you will also gain access to the “Falcon’s Talons”, which are the extremely sharp claws from the second Ninja Gaiden game. These claws can be used in both Single Player and Multiplayer. On top of all of this, the Multiplayer part of the game will gain an increased level cap and a new stage too. Check out the ‘Ninja Pack 1’ DLC for Xbox 360 and PSN for $10, and keep your eye out for the update to add the Ultimate Ninja difficulty on April 24th.
