Good news! I have something here for you to watch during your lunch break, so forget about catching up on Boardwalk Empire or reading that depressing/terrifying bit over on Wired about the death of net neutrality. (You should be scared, though.) I’ve got you covered!
So long as you want to hear me and fellow freelancer (and Dallas Morning News editor) Britton Peele talk about and play half an hour of Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures. It’s a new Pac-Man game that saw going head-to-head with Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag as a good decision. Of course, they’re not going after the same audience, but here we are. I played this back at PAX East and thought it was okay, but it’ll be more fun if we find out together.
This is a new series that we hope to bring to you on a weekly basis. Next week we’ve got a real burner for you and after that, well, who knows. We’re wildcards! We might even throw together a dumb intro sequence and talk in Cockney accents!
Feel free to leave comments either on the video or below. Don’t worry; I’m used to death threats at this point over the quality of my work, as is Britton. Go for it. (Of course, constructive criticism and friendly words are welcome as well.)
