Someone wanted to buy a little bit of Capcom today. $306,000 in stocks to be exact. Too bad the broker made a huge mistake. The person actually had bought $31 billion in Capcom stock. This of course made for a celebration. The celebration lasted only for a short while as the mistake was found. Capcom excited that someone invested in them, only the investment was for a smaller amount.

So much for drinks all around.

I for one do not know a lot about UFC. To tell the truth all I know is two things, Brock Lenser is a former WWE champion, and Ken Shamrock won King of the Ring and a WWE intercontinental champion, both happening in 1998.

Ultimate Fighting Champion is Mixed Martial Arts at its best. The fights take place in an eight sided cage called the octagon. Fights are broken down into a technical aspect. Passing guards, shooting legs, etc are common words to hear while watching a UFC fight.

The three lucky fighters that have been added to the roster are Nate Marquardt, Josh Koscheck, and Marcus Davis, all of which are extremely good in the octagon. Each have great records and have earned their spot in the game. While the complete roster offers more noticeable names, these fighters will make their mark by being in the video game.

I have the most respect for you DJ’s out there, sometimes that has to be one of the most irritating job in the world, especially at a school dance. Other times, you guys get to shine as someone who made in impact on the music world. DJ’s have helped create some of the oldest hits that are actually still being listened to today, yet I firmly believe they should not get a video game.

As I said no offense to you DJ’s, but do you guys really think that you need a video game? Quite frankly this game is attempting to grab a piece of the music video game pie. Guitar Hero and Rock Band are both respectable games which I hope have many more sequels and differences in the genre. Sadly enough that is where music video games need to stop.

Wii Music can almost describe about what I am talking about, I remember when these types of games first started making noise (no pun intended), all I could think about was how this game just should not exist. Simply put, you can’t make a music video game into a kid’s game. That is what Nintendo attempted to do, and as you can see, they didn’t do very well at all. Sure Wii Music was a noble attempt, but in reality Nintendo wanted to grab a piece of the music game genre pie.

I don’t want DJ hero to fail, but I personally do not see this catching on like Rock Band or Guitar Hero. Most people will be looking at DJ Hero, and say that it is just another peripheral game. Maybe I will be wrong, but most of the people I know are really down with rocking out instead of turning those tables.

DJ Hero is slated to be released later in the year. No word on how the turntable will work or when exactly the game will be released, all I can say is hopefully if the game does succeed, we might be able to see some Guitar Hero integration with DJ Hero.

“Don’t let the game end, and don’t have a level cap,” said Todd Howard. These are the two big lessons that Bethesda learned from Fallout 3. After so many people complained about having no end-game experience and the fact that you can’t level past 20.

Bethesda is slightly fixing the problem with Fallout 3. When the Broken Steel download able content comes available you will be able to level past 20, but it will max out at 30. Hopefully for those of us who were close to max out a skill, can now do so.

The best part is when Fallout 4 comes out (you know it will), we can do whatever we want to our hearts content without having a level cap or end-game weigh us down.

That is correct Xbox 360 owners. The Resident Evil 5 demo hit XBL today. I am in the mist of downloading the demo right now, but once I get some game play time in I’ll report on it. There is two player online and offline co-op.

For those of you who have not seen Resident Evil: Degeneration and you are going to buy this game, your going to be at a loss. A new company called Tricell appearing in the movie and in the game. By not watching the movie you will be missing out on a plot device.

I have seen Degeneration, for a movie it was quite good. It was better than expected, and is a must see for fans.

For you Playstation 3 owners out there, do not fear. Next week the demo will be infecting your Playstation. Just keep a look out for it.

Have you beaten Fallout 3? If not, congratulations on holding yourself back, because once you beat it, you won’t be able to play it anymore. Then again this might not happen anymore. Bethesda has decided to fix the problem by allowing those who have beat the game, to continue playing. Too bad not all of them can continue playing.

As you can guess this will only be available for the Xbox 360 and PC versions of Fallout 3. Playstation 3 owners are gimped out of this deal due to a deal that Bethesda and Microsoft cut. Todd Howard said “Not at this time, no.” when asked about the Playstation 3 getting to continue playing the game. This means it is possible for Playstation 3 owners to get this DLC sometime, as for when no one knows.

This also goes for the ability to keep playing Fallout 3. There is no information on when it will be coming out, or even if it will have a price tag attached to it. Lets hope that this DLC comes in the form of an update. Then again Microsoft cut the deal so we may have to pay up to keep playing.

Last year I reported that a Final Fantasy themed tower defense game (called Crystal Defenders) would be released for the Iphone and Itouch. Last month the game was released.

Square is now porting Crystal Defenders to the wii soon, and later in the year for Xbox Live Arcade and Playstation Network. The Wiiware version will retail for 1000 wii points. As for the XBL and PSN versions, the price is currently unknown.

The great news is now almost everyone can enjoy a tower defense game. Hopefully this is done correct, with an increasing difficulty and possible online multiplayer.

Last month Konami released the MGO demo to the Playstation Store. My guess is that they where attempting to get a some people to buy MGS 4 or even get them to buy MGO eventually. Even though that is probably the case, Komnami added something to people who register for MGO.

As an added plus the users also get the MGO codec pack, which gives players more voice commands. December 24, 2008 to February 16, 2009 is the time frame Konami is giving to new players to register and get these offers.

I see this from two perspectives. The first one is that Konami is giving a huge middle finger and a challenge to vetern players. The second is offering newbies a chance to stand up against the veterns. If the vetern players had waited a little bit, they too could of had this bonus.

Best Buy has bought vending machines that sell video games. Right now they only sell Nintendo DS systems and games. The “Best Buy Express” machines are only in airports for now, but I can see further expansion of these vending machines.

Of course this good and bad. The good part is that the machines carry the same price tags if you where to buy the items from a store. This is very good for people with money to spend on flying and playing video games. Plus you can annoy the crap out of the people around while playing Guitar Hero: On Tour.

The bad side of this machine is that it can cause harm to an already hurt economy. If these machines go further than airports, people are going to start getting let off. Why go to the store when you can go to a machine?

Of course the Best Buy Express sells more than video games, but it is a great machine for people always on the go.

What is shocking is that there are no PSP games or systems being sold. Maybe Nintendo struck a deal with Best Buy. Only time can tell.

This demo will take up 1.25 gb of memory. So if your not too busy, why don’t you download it and give it a try.

I hear it is a take on the Star Wars: Battlefront formula. Which makes the game a little hard for me to download. Lord of the Rings is no Star Wars, so I see in no point of Lord of the Rings needing to copy everything that Star Wars has done and vise versa.
