Sony certainly has been dragged through the mud the last few weeks, huh? I still find it hard to believe how all of this happened so quickly; even if Sony wasn’t top dog on the current gen’s console war, it was making some headway, and certainly had history on its side for making the PS3 a long-term win. With the hacks and outages of late, however, enough of a dent in Sony’s image may have been made to prevent such a thing from happening.

Sony Online Entertainment announced today that it has partnered with LiveGamer.com to allow trade of real money for virtual items in The Agency and Free Realms.
According to a press release, LiveGamer’s service, dubbed Live Gamer Exchange, will “provide the
