We have a lot of information for the Darksider II fans out there. First up we have some information about the upcoming novel The Abomination Vault that is set to launch the same time as the much anticipated game is.

Here is a little more about The Abomination Vault.

In DARKSIDERS: THE ABOMINATION VAULT, the Horsemen of the Apocalypse (beings charged with maintaining the Balance between the forces of Heaven and Hell) have uncovered a plot to resurrect ancient weapons of unimaginable power. Death, with the help of his compatriot War, must track down and neutralize the mysterious individuals behind the scheme before the entire universe is plunged into a devastating conflict.

Next up the Darksiders II Community forums are live. So head over to the forums to stay on top of all new information concerning the game. Also you will be able to share your ideas with the Vigil Development Team.

The Megaman D-Arts figures have been notable successes. The figures, by Bandai, have given Megaman (technically, Rockman) a serious toy line that’s largely been missing. Bluefin Tamashi Nations USA, a company that’s successfully been bringing the Japanese figures to America, has come to fans for help. Bandai wants to know what fans are looking for.

Fans of the Blue Bomber can go onto their Facebook page and vote for what character they’d like to see release. It’s not a guarantee that it’ll come out, but it can’t hurt to let your voice be heard. Megaman Volnutt from Megaman Legends is currently in the lead, with Sigma and others following behind. Down at the bottom of the list are such forgettable characters as Buster Rod G. X and Vile have already been worked on, so a little love towards the abandoned Legends world would be nice.

Have you been buying the D-Arts figures?

Spider-Man and the X-Men are friendly with each other. They’ve fought alongside each other many times, and in Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends, Spidey regularly teamed up with two mutants. Spider-Man might clash with the X-Men in the upcoming summer event of Avengers VS. X-Men, but they’ll likely be friends when all is said and done. When it comes to video games, the web-slinger is even going to help out the world’s strangest teens.

Amazon is currently running a deal that gives you a free copy of X-Men Destiny when you purchase Spider-Man: Edge of Time for both PS3 and 360. The two games were released at roughly the same time, were advertised together, and generally flew under the radar. Marvel fans who skipped out on them initially may want to pick them up. They weren’t the best reviewed games, but they might be a good way to pass a day.

Me? I reviewed both and wasn’t blown away.

What is up Platform Nation and fellow Star Wars The Old Republic fans? Got another episode of The Holoterminal to share with you today. In Episode 8 I cover some tips that might help you level faster once you start getting to the later planets and levels in the game. Now this announcement comes after the huge news that was announced at the 2011 VGA’s, that Alan Wake’s: American Nightmare heading to the XBLA early 2012.  Looks like Alan Wake fans are going to be busy the first part of 2012!

Alan Wake tells the story of a best-selling writer suffering from writer’s block. He goes on vacation to the small town of Bright Falls with his wife, Alice, to gain back his creative flow. Shortly upon arrival, Wake finds himself trapped in a nightmare when his wife mysteriously goes missing. He keeps finding pages of a manuscript he apparently wrote, but can’t remember writing. The manuscript is coming true. An involving psychological action thriller, Alan Wake raises the bar in storytelling and creating a suspenseful cinematic experience.

First up more about the downlaodable game that is heading to Xbox Live Arcade in early 2012:
