Paradox Interactive’s release of Crusader Kings II: Greed is fast approaching, and they’ve put out another live action trailer in their series of videos leading up to the game’s release. Their latest trailer features the consequences of not choosing your advisers wisely in Crusader Kings II.

NEW YORK – January 10th, 2011 – Sound the trumpets! Paradox Interactive has released the fourth of the Deadly Sins live action trailers Crusader Kings II: Greed, for medieval strategy / RPG Crusader Kings II.

The fourth, and perhaps the last. True to the game, our King has overstretched himself, conquered the lands of far too many rulers and finds himself with a list of enemies as long as his codpiece. Only his spymaster can save the day, and the man is a conniving, filthy, traitorous, two-faced scoundrel. Could anyone ask for a better political ally*?

The information trickling out about the game has me curious on how the final product will end up. If their videos are any sign, the game looks like it’ll be a great mix of humor and strategic gameplay. Please check back with Platform Nation for more details.

And the awesome trailers keep coming from tonight’s VGA’s. Even though I didn’t think Tony Hawk titles were still selling, I was surprised to hear about a new Tony Hawk title. Well almost a new title as Tony Hawk Pro Skater returns as a remastered edition Tony Hawk Pro Skater HD. This one will be for those that either love the Tony Hawk series or have played Pro Skater in the past.

Last week we brought you the debut trailer for Max Payne 3, and this week we have the same trailer with a twist. Rockstar has just released the Max Payne 3: Pop-Up trailer which highlights many of the things you glimpsed in the trailer, but now illuminated by some new details being revealed for the first time. So take a look at the Max Payne Pop-up trailer below.

I don’t know about you but I thought the pop-up trailer was fantastic as it detailed Max Payne’s weapons, melee and cover. I would love to see more trailers follow this format.

Dead Island has released two new treats for those of us anxiously awaiting the release of Dead Island this coming ?Tuesday (September 6,2011).

First we have the official release trailer. Deep silver has given us some gorgeous trailers in the past (remember the first one which was a reveal in reverse?) and this one, even though it is straight forward, is no exception.

“The comic introduces journalist Roger Howard, who has traveled to Banoi to investigate the illegal exploitation of the island’s resources. During his investigations in the Royal Palms Resort hotel he discovers a terrible surprise that no one could ever expect…”

“The story was created by Marvel Custom Solutions by the creative team of writer William Dailey, along with artists Jorge Lucas, Juan Santacruz, Diego Olmos, Carlos Rodriguez and Sergio Arino. The comic also features an eye-catching cover by Christian Nauck.”

I think it actually goes on a bit long (somewhere around 2:45, you just get this “all right, come on, I get it” feeling), but I think it has actually revitalized my interest in the game. Previews have held the game in high regard, but the trailers almost always left a “so what” taste in my mouth. Now, however, I just might actually be looking forward to August 23^rd.

We have the newest trailer for the Batman: Arkham City fans among us right here for your viewing pleasure. The newest trailer (courtesy of G4TV) gives us a look at the Penguin in action and Batman wiping up the floor with some thugs that are just getting in his way.

I for one can’t wait for Batman: Arkham City and watching the trailers that have been released so far just makes me want to play this one that much more.
